Purpose

To consider approving the award of contract to
the selected operator to run Bletchley Leisure Centre, Woughton
Leisure Centre and Windmill Hill Golf Course.

Content

1.         That the
public and press be excluded from the meeting by virtue of
Paragraph 3 (Information Relating to the Financial or Business
Affairs of the Authority) of Part I of Schedule 12A of the Local
Government Act 1972, in order that the meeting consider the exempt
Annex to the report.

2.         That the
contract be awarded to the successful bidder, who scored highest in
accordance with the Most advantageous Tender evaluation (as set out
in the exempt Annex), following a compliant Procurement Act 2023
(PA23) open process to provide leisure management services at the 3
facilities identified, for a term of ten years with the option to
extend for a further period of five years.

3.         That
authority be delegated to the Director of Customer and Community
Services, in consultation with the Cabinet member for Regulatory
Services and the Director of Law and Governance and Director of
Finance and Resources, to:

(a)        agree and
approve the final contract terms for execution; and

(b)       approve any other
necessary documentation that is required to give effect to the
decisions contained within this report.
