Purpose

To consider approving the Bucks and MK Local
Nature Recovery Strategy together with the first formal
Biodiversity Report.

Content

1.         That the
Local Nature Recovery Strategy for Buckinghamshire and Milton
Keynes, prepared and agreed by Buckinghamshire Council in
consultation with Milton Keynes City Council, attached at Annex A
to the report, be noted and endorsed.

2.         That the
Biodiversity Duty Report, attached at Annex B to the report, be
approved and published prior to the publication deadline of 26
March 2026.

3.         That
authority be delegated to the Director of Environment and Property,
in consultation with the Cabinet member for Planning and
Placemaking, to make minor amendments to the Biodiversity Duty
Report for the reporting period ending 1 January 2031.
