Purpose

To consider introducing a new fee structure to
include ‘direct cremations’.

Content

1.         That the
new fee structure, which includes provision for direct cremations
as well as other bereavement services, be introduced.

2.         That
authority be delegated to the Director of Customer and Community
Services, in consultation with the Cabinet member for Regulatory
Services, to finalise the arrangements for the new fee
structure.
