Purpose

To consider approving the commencement of a tender exercise for the Corporate Building Cleaning Contract.

Decision

RESOLVED:

1. That the procurement of a corporate cleaning contract for an initial 3-year period with an optional extension period of up to 24 months, be agreed.
2. That authority be delegated to the Director of Customer and Community Services to:

a)      finalise arrangements for the procurement including the specification, to commence in September 2026.

b)     approve the award of contract following the tender exercise, subject to the receipt of acceptable bids.
