Purpose

To consider allocating grant funding to Milton Keynes College to deliver specialist adult skills provisions, in priority sectors such as construction.

Decision

1. That £410,000 Adult Skills Fund grant be allocated to Milton Keynes College for the delivery of adult skills provision in 2026/27.
2. That authority be delegated to the Director of Children’s Services, in consultation with the Cabinet member for Children and Young People, to finalise the arrangements to transfer £410,000 to Milton Keynes College for the delivery of adult skills provision in 2026/27.
3. That the proposed payment schedule (four instalments: October 2026, January 2027, April 2027 and July 2027 following payment from the DWP) be noted.
