Purpose

To consider awarding a contract for the delivery of the Connect to Work programme, for residents in Milton Keynes who face barriers to employment.

Decision

1. That the public and press be excluded from the meeting by virtue of Paragraph 3 (Information relating to the Financial or Business Affairs of the Authority) of Part I of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, in order that the meeting consider the exempt Annex to the report.
2. That approval to award a contract for the delivery of the Connect to Work Programme (outsourced provision) following completion of an Open Tender procurement process, be agreed.
3. That the contract be awarded to the bidder achieving the highest score against the published evaluation criteria, for a period of three years and six months, commencing from September 2026 to the value of £1.6 million.
