Purpose

To consider approving changes to building control fees.

Decision

1. That the new fee structure for Building Regulation Charges (attached as an Annex to the report) be introduced to align with operational changes as a result of new legislation, as well as a on a cost recovery basis.
2. That authority be delegated to the Director of Customer and Community Services, in consultation with the Cabinet member for Regulatory Services, to finalise the arrangements for the new fee structure.
