RESOLVED:
1.         That the
Assistant Director Education, Learning & Inclusion consider how
MKCC can support additional supply in the sector, particularly for
the under three years cohort and bearing in mind the expected
expansion in demand following the expansion of free childcare in
September 2024 and then September 2025.
2.         Looking
to the longer term, that the Assistant Director Education, Learning
& Inclusion consider how sufficient spaces for under three year
olds can be planned on new developments in Milton Keynes, and to
consider novel approaches to help meet future demand through the
use of, for example, intergenerational childcare.
