Purpose

To consider approving the transfer of the
freehold of the newly built Whitehouse Meeting Place to Whitehouse
Community Council.

Content

1.1 That,
once the construction is completed and the City Council takes
possession of the new building, expected to be in July 2024, the
freehold ownership of the new Community Meeting Place at Whitehouse
be transferred to Whitehouse Community Council.
1.2 That
authority be delegated to the Director of Customer and Community
Services, in consultation with the Cabinet member for Tackling
Social Inequalities, to settle outstanding matters and finalise the
transfer.
