Content

1.         That the
updated Procedure for Hearings (attached at Annex A to the report)
be agreed.

2.         That the
following feedback on the ‘Guidance for Applicants and
Persons Making Representations on Licensing Hearings’
(attached at Annex B to the report) be forwarded to the Director of
Law and Governance for consideration and endorse its use moving
forward:

(a)        to ensure
repetitive presentations to the Sub-Committee not be permitted;
and

(b)       to encourage concise
presentations whilst not placing rigid time limits.

3.         That
delegated authority be given to the Director of Law and Governance
to make minor typographical or consequential amendments to both
documents.
