Purpose

To consider and approve the grant to Community
Action:MK of £75,000 to disseminate amongst various
organisations in the Voluntary Sector Mental Health Alliance to
deliver interventions that target risk factors associated with poor
mental health and incidence of suicide in Milton Keynes.

Content

That Community Action:MK be
awarded £75,000, which will be allocated from the funding
previously approved to deliver health improvement projects in areas
of regeneration in Milton Keynes. This funding will be distributed
to local voluntary sector partners in the Milton Keynes Mental
Health Alliance to deliver a range of projects aiming to reduce
mental health inequalities.
