Content

1.           
That the Director of Environment & Property and
the Head of Housing Maintenance, Investment and Corporate Health
& Safety be thanked for their report on the Council’s
Repairs & Maintenance Programme and the measures put in place
to deal with damp and mould in council dwellings.

2.           
That the Environment & Property Team explores
ways in which tenant satisfaction with Milton Keynes City Council
as a landlord can be measured and recorded.

3.           
That the Environment & Property Team considers
Councillor Khan’s suggestion of possibly transferring some
properties to the private sector (which would be responsible for
repairs and maintenance) and then leasing them back into the HRA
for allocation to council tenants as this approach has been carried
out successfully by some other local authorities.
