1.            
That the Housing Needs Task and Finish Group be thanked for their
work and producing a comprehensible and readable report.

2.            
That the Committee endorsed the report and supports its submission
to Cabinet once the final edit has been completed.

3.            
That the Committee notes that the Task and Finish Group had not
been able to cover all aspects of the housing need issues it would
have liked to have done due the unavailability of the necessary
information whilst it was carrying out its
investigations.  The Committee,
therefore, recommends that the outstanding items be included in the
Work Programme of the Housing, Planning and Placemaking Scrutiny
Committee once the data is available.

4.            
That the representative of the Residents of Renewal Estates
attending the meeting, put the comments/questions he raised which
are outside the remit of the Corporate Overview and Scrutiny
Management Committee in writing to the Committee’s officers
so that they can be passed on to the appropriate persons for a
response.
