RESOLVED:
(a)              
That the Committee
continue to track the progress of previous Task and Finish
Groups.
(b)             
That where
appropriate, that Planning Groups are encouraged to look outside
the Council for witnesses.
(c)              
That Committee members
be asked to remind their groups to complete the survey on the
effectiveness of scrutiny.
(d)             
That any training also
address how Chairs can identify and scrutinise cross cutting
issues.
