Purpose

To review the updated Risk Register and endorse the current strategic risks prior to submission to the Audit Committee, at its meeting to be held on 15 September 2026.

Decision

RESOLVED:

1. 1        That the Risk Management Strategy be approved.
2. 2        That Cabinet reviews and approves the Strategic risks and risk scores assigned (residual and target) and confirm that these continue to be appropriate for the organisation, prior to submission to Audit Committee for oversight.
3. 3        That Cabinet notes the list of Service Risk Registers across Services within the Council.
