Purpose

To consider approving the alignment and
re-commissioning of our existing recycling infrastructure contracts
- the Waste Transfer Station and our Household Waste Recycling
Centres.

Content

1.         That the
public and press be excluded from the meeting by virtue of
Paragraph 3 (Information relating to the Financial or Business
Affairs of the Authority) of Part I of Schedule 12A of the Local
Government Act 1972, in order that the meeting may consider exempt
Annexes B and C to the report.

2.         That the
Recycling Infrastructure Services Commissioning Plan, attached at
Annex A to the report, be approved.

3.         That the
award of an extension of the operation and management of the
materials recycling facility contract, up to and including 31 March
2028, be approved, subject to finalising the deed of variation to the contract
materially on the same terms of scope of services and therefore the
nature of the contract will remain unaltered.

4.         That the
award of an extension of the Household
Waste Recycling Centres
contract, up to
and including 31 March 2028, subject to finalising the contract to extend by one month, be
approved.

5.         That the
resource allocation and spend approval of £0.250m in the
2024/25 Capital Programme, be
approved.
