Purpose

To receive and note an update on:
a) the Youth Participation Summit in November 2024; and
b) plans for school elections in February 2025.
Note: this is not a formal decision.

Content

RESOLVED
–
1.            
That the plans for Youth Council elections in
February 2025 be agreed.
2.            
That the agenda and arrangements for the MK Youth Summit
at Unity Place on 8 November 2024 be noted.
3.            
That the Youth Council’s Draft Report for
2023-25 be noted and any feedback offered and the final report referred to Full
Council in January 2025.
4.            
That in respect of the ‘participation and
youth voice’ recommendation of the National Youth Agency Peer
Review, Cabinet note the existing relationships and work already
undertaken and offer any additional observations on how the Youth
Council could work more closely with elected members.
