Option 4 (a) be approved, as follows:
1.
To revert to free parking in the on-street layby parking along The
Princess Margaret Way.
2.
To introduce £1 and £2 parking tariffs for one-hour and two-hour
parking respectively, in addition to the existing £4 all day tariff at Bay
View, Ocean Way, Scarlet Avenue and Victoria Road car parks, with an
implementation date of the 1st April 2026.
3.
To suspend enforcement action in respect of the laybys, until the
completion of the legal processes required to revoke the tariffs associated
with on-street parking at the seafront - subject to the 3 day
Scrutiny call in period.
