Purpose

This report introduces a suite of updated
policies for Housing (Landlord Services) following periodic review,
which detail the undertaking and arrangements pertaining to core
statutory safety and compliance servicing and maintenance functions
of the Council’s social housing stock under Housing Revenue
Account activities. The revised Policies are attached at Appendix
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7.

Decision

On 2 October 2025, Cllr Steve Davies, the
Portfolio Holder for Housing and Homelessness made the following
decision:

To adopt the revised policies which have been presented to the
Tenant Involvement Group (TIG) and Executive Management Team (EMT)
on 12th August 2025.

The policies presented reflect minor amendments to existing
policies for approval by the Portfolio Holder publishing formally
within the Council but as public documents updated on the Councils
webpages

Any member of the Council, who is not a Portfolio Holder, who
considers that this decision should be reviewed should give notice
using the call-in facility at the top of this page on the
Council’s intranet / extranet site. Alternatively, notice can
be given to the Monitoring Officer (Matt Wisdom) (in writing or by
e-mail) to be received ON OR BY 5.15 pm on 9 October 2025.
