Purpose
Hampshire County Council has published its
final Local Nature Recovery Strategy and issued it to NFDC for
consultation as a supporting authority in accordance with the
Environment (Local Nature Recovery Strategies) (Procedure)
Regulations 2023 on 1st October 2025 starting a 28-day consultation
period.
Decision
On 10 October 2025, Cllr Derek Tipp, the
Portfolio Holder for Planning and Economy made the following
decision:
That approval be given to the final Local Nature Recovery Strategy
(provided as Appendix A) for publication.
Any member of the Council, who is not a Portfolio Holder, who
considers that this decision should be reviewed should give notice
using the call-in facility at the top of this page on the
Council’s intranet / extranet site. Alternatively, notice can
be given to the Monitoring Officer (Matt Wisdom) (in writing or by
e-mail) to be received ON OR BY 5.15 pm on 17 October 2025.
