Inner North East London Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee (INEL JHOSC)

          The Inner North East London Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee (INEL JHOSC) is a joint committee made up of a delegated number of scrutiny Councillors from:   ·  City of London Corporation ·  London Boroughs of Hackney ·  London Borough of Newham and ·  London Borough of Tower Hamlets ·  London Borough Waltham Forest   And an Observer Member from London Borough of Redbridge   The Committee’s remit is to consider London-wide and local NHS service developments and changes that impact at least two of the authorities mentioned above.   The Committee meet as required and is established in accordance with section 245 of the NHS Act 2006 and Local Authority ( Overview and Scrutiny Committees Health Scrutiny Functions) Regulations 2002.     The current Chair of INEL JHOSC is Councillor Ben Hayhurst (London Borough of Hackney)   The current vice-Chair of INEL JHOSC is Councillor Gabriela Salva-Macallan (London Borough of Tower Hamlets)

    ONEL JHOSC   The Outer North East London (ONEL) JHOSC is made up of representatives from:   ·  Epping Forest District Council (observer status) ·  Essex County Council ·  London Borough of Barking and Dagenham ·  London Borough of Havering ·  London Borough of Redbridge and ·  London Borough of Waltham Forest.    The current chair of ONEL JHOSC is Councillor Paul Robinson (Chairman) (London Borough of Barking and Dagenham).
