Parking Review Terms of Reference and Scope

The Cabinet decided to approve the Terms of Reference and Scope for the Parking and Kerbside Space Review and authorised its commencement on 21/07/2026. They also approved out-of-scope items for separate reviews and granted delegated authority to the Corporate Director of Environment and Sustainable Transport.

The Cabinet decided to delegate authority to the Director of Property to agree the terms of a sale of a 999-year lease of 29 Bidder Street on 07/05/2024. The final terms of the sale will be agreed by the Director of Property in consultation with the Corporate Director of Resources and the Lead Cabinet Member for Finance and Resources.

The Interim Assistant Chief Executive – Change & Improvement & Corporate Director of Resources approved the allocation of £1.111m to 134 People Powered Places projects on 29/04/2026. This funding includes NCIL, rollover underspends, and a Royal Docks Team contribution. They also approved the withdrawal of the Plaistow Eco Hub project and continued support for the Walton Road Community Garden for a feasibility period.

The Corporate Director of Environment and Sustainable Transport approved the extension of the enforcement concession contract for a period of two years on an unspecified date. This extension is at nil cost to the council and is estimated to generate £2m in income.
