Newham’s Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE) is such a statutory body set up to review the agreed syllabus on Religious Education and agree determinations for collective worship. The membership on SACRE is made of representatives from the Local Authority, teachers, Church of England and representatives of the various faiths across Newham.
