To waive the request for waiver and award the contract to Dan Perrin Landscapes in relation to Repairs to shelter at Hillsborough

Reasons for the decision

The work was originally put out for quotes by Property Services in 2024, only 2 quotes were received. Due to work pressure the work was not progressed until Feb 25 when the National Landscapes team offered £20k towards the work. The 2 contractors were contacted again but only 1 can complete the work by 31st March 2025 which is a stipulation of the funding.

Alternative options considered

I can confirm that I have sought advice from Legal Services and we have agreed that it is appropriate that this requirement be waived for the following reason(s):
