The Communities Scrutiny Committee examines and monitors the council's performance and progress towards achieving the Council Plan Goal: 'A Great Place to Live Well'.
This committee reviews specific targets and objectives related to this goal. It can undertake detailed investigations into issues affecting the delivery of this goal, providing recommendations to the council. Its role is to scrutinise and assess, rather than make executive decisions.
