Each Scrutiny Committee has a themed responsibility for scrutinising issues and monitoring performance relating to the Council Plan. The Environment Scrutiny Committee has a themed responsibility for scrutinising the Council Plan Goal, A Great Place that Cares for the Environment. The Scrutiny Committees assess progress against the specific Council Plan targets and objectives, and when appropriate carry out detailed review work on issues relating to their delivery.
