Standards Committee — North East Derbyshire

The Standards Committee promotes and maintains high standards of conduct for all Council Members and co-opted Members. It advises the Council on its Members' Code of Conduct, monitors its operation, and oversees relevant training for both District and Town/Parish Councillors. The committee also works to increase public awareness of the Code of Conduct and its application. Concerns about service provision or the conduct of officers or elected members can be reported under the Council's 'Whistleblowing' policy.
