To make a new Area Tree Preservation Order on
trees at Clifton Court

Reasons for the decision

It has been deemed appropriate to create TPO
293 as an Area Order.
The trees, by reason of their size, shape and location are
considered to significantly contribute to the leafy character and
visual amenity of the area.
There is a perceived threat to the trees in this area

Alternative options considered

There is one other option and that’s to
not make the order but that requires the council ignore the
possible risk of losing important trees and this is not considered
a suitable alternative.
