To recruit a Community Safety and ASB Officer
at grade 8 (£26,854.09 to £29,438.93) for a fixed term
of 3 years using newly acquired PCC grant funding and existing
grant funding.

Reasons for the decision

Exempt under paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 of Schedule
12A Local Government Act 1972.

Alternative options considered

Other options for the structure have been
explored but these options are the most effective and will enable
the Community Safety Team to improve the service it provides at a
cost which is affordable.
