To make a Temporary Road Closure Order under
Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 for a Remembrance
Day procession on Sunday 9th November 2025 from 9:30-10am and
11:45-Noon on a rolling basis along part of Fanshaw Road and B6052
with a Stationary Road Closure at the War Memorial during the
wreath laying ceremony

Reasons for the decision

To enable Eckington Town Council to hold their
Remembrance Day Parade

Alternative options considered

There are no other options available for this
event and it will not go ahead without the Temporary Road Closure
being in place.
