To make a Temporary Road Closure Order under
Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847. The roads to be
closed are Market Street (between Gosber Street and the pedestrian
precinct) and Southgate (from the junction of Market Street to the
junction of Station Road) on Friday 5th December 2025, between 7am
and 7pm.

Reasons for the decision

To enable Eckington Town Council to hold a
Christmas Event.

Alternative options considered

There are no other options available for this
event and it will not go ahead without the Temporary Road Closure
being in place.
