To extend the existing maintenance contract
for the Gov Delivery application used by NEDDC with the existing
supplier Granicus for a further 36 months. The contracts are on the
G-Cloud Framework. The total value of the contract will be under
£22,000.

Reasons for the decision

The current software used for contacting
customers GovDelivery provides a unique integration between this
newsletter/email delivery system and the Councils CRM (GovService).
This specific function isn’t currently something that is
available from another supplier. By entering a three year contract
the Council can secure a fixed price saving the Council
money.

The Frameworks have already secured competitive contracts for
Government use.

Alternative options considered

Alternative software would not provide the
current integration capabilities with our existing CRM.
