January 10, 2025 Strategic Director of Place (Officer) Approved View on council websiteFull council record
Decision
Agree that the Breedon on the HIll
Neighbourhood Plan should go to referendum
Reasons for the decision
The council, as the local planning authority,
is required to decide whether to accept the Examiner’s
recommendations. A decision is required within 5 weeks of the
receipt of the Examiner’s Report which in this instance was 7
January 2025. Officers have considered the recommendations of the
Examiner and are of the view that the Proposed Modifications are
appropriate and that the Neighbourhood Plan is considered to
contribute to sustainable development within the Neighbourhood Area
and would meet the basic conditions as defined in the Localism Act
2011, Schedule 10 and Schedule 4B, 8 (2) of the Town and Country
Planning Act 1990, subject to the recommended alterations set out
in the Examiner’s report.
Alternative options considered
Whether to go to Referendum or not.
