Reasons for the decision

Minor changes required to the Policy in order
to meet the Housing Ombudsmans Complaint Handling Code.
The decision to make minor changes was delegated to the Director of
Resources by Cabinet on 24 June 2025.

Alternative options considered

While the core structure of our complaints
policy remains unchanged, we have strengthened its robustness to
ensure full alignment with the statutory requirements of the
Housing Ombudsman’s Complaint Handling Code.
