Care and Independence Overview and Scrutiny Committee

The Care and Independence Overview and Scrutiny Committee examines how the Council and other public bodies support vulnerable adults, older people, and those needing assistance to maintain their independence, including housing matters. This committee does not make decisions but reviews policies and services, making recommendations to decision-makers on how objectives are being met. Its work aims to represent the interests of local people by scrutinising issues that affect them.
