About

The Corporate and Partnerships Overview and Scrutiny Committee examines the council's overall organisation, how resources are managed, and its approach to equalities and performance. It also reviews how the council works with partners and engages with the community, including community safety initiatives. This committee acts in an advisory capacity, making recommendations to decision-makers rather than taking decisions itself. It also fulfils the statutory role of the Crime and Disorder Committee for North Yorkshire.
