The Housing and Leisure Overview and Scrutiny Committee examines how the Council's decisions, policies, and services related to housing and leisure impact local residents and the area. It does not make decisions but can recommend improvements to decision-makers.

The committee specifically reviews the Council's responsibilities as a social landlord, including policies, service improvements, and compliance with social housing regulations. It also scrutinises housing strategy, homelessness, affordable housing delivery, and private sector housing renewal.
