About

The Scrutiny of Health Committee examines the planning, provision, and operation of health services across North Yorkshire, including Ambulance Trusts and Health and Care Partnerships. This committee does not make decisions but can recommend improvements to decision-makers to enhance local health outcomes and address health inequalities. It focuses on how health services meet local needs, considers wider factors affecting health, and ensures coordinated action across agencies. The committee also provides feedback on the performance of Integrated Care Boards and NHS Trusts serving the county.
