Transport, Economy, Environment and Enterprise Overview and Scrutiny Committee

The Transport, Economy, Environment and Enterprise Overview and Scrutiny Committee examines how the Council and other public bodies deliver services and make decisions affecting residents in North Yorkshire. It does not make decisions itself but can recommend improvements to decision-makers.

The committee scrutinises transport and communications infrastructure, and how community transport needs are met. It also reviews support for businesses, economic development, skills training, sustainable development, climate change, countryside and waste management, environmental conservation, and flood prevention.
