Decision

To accept the recommendation by Councillor
Janet Jefferson to award £1,000 of her Locality Budgets
funding to fund creation of a mezzanine teaching/training area with
new staircase/ main deck classroom at Scarborough Sea Cadets.

Cllr Jefferson is member of the Sea Cadets Management and has been
involved with the organisation since 1999. In addition to being the
NYC Castle Division Councillor, previously 24 years as SBC
Councillor also live and work in the area of Scarborough.

Reasons for the decision

The funding will support this specific project
recommended by Councillor Jefferson which directly promotes the
social, economic, or environmental wellbeing of the communities
within the Division she represents.
