to receive and deploy funds to create a network of IAG champions
across the community and voluntary sector

Reasons for the decision

As we approach devolution the wider social
value of engagement will be key to maintaining funding and ensuring
it is effectively spent. This funding will aim to increase
community understanding of the benefits of lifelong learning and
develop a lasting infrastructure of advice and guidance. Placing
this funding with ALSS enables us to capitalise on existing
networks and support the services strategic direction to be a
conduit to higher level skills for residents of North
Yorkshire
