Decision

The decision is to Direct Award from the YPO
1114 Food Deal 2 Framework to Turner & Price Ltd of the
contract for the supply of Lot 1 - Groceries, Lot 2 - Frozen Foods,
Lot 3 - Fresh Fruit & Veg, Lot 4 - Chilled Food, Lot 5 - Meats
and Lot 6 - Bakery goods to Harrogate Convention Centre

Reasons for the decision

The current contract in place for food
provision is a YPO Direct Award on the 1114 Food Deal 2 Framework
for one year that is now due for renewal. The service area (HCC) is
extremely satisfied with the performance of the incumbent, who is
the only supplier that can cover all the Lots on the Framework. A
short term re procurement as a Direct Award to the same supplier to
ensure compliance and continuity until a wider NYC procurement
project is completed is the most sensible option.
