Decision

The award of a contract for Replacement of
Analogue lines to Daisy Corporate Services Trading Limited using
the YPO 00976 Network Connectivity and Telecommunication Solutions
framework Lot 6.

The contract is for a period of 3 years plus 1 year extension
commencing on the 18 March 2024.

The contract value is £1,300,000 (exc VAT)

Reasons for the decision

Following a request for information from all
suppliers on Lot 6 of the YPO 00976 Network Connectivity and
Telecommunication Solutions framework, Daisy Corporate Services
Trading Limited were the only supplier who were able to deliver our
requirements and therefore a direct award was awarded.

Alternative options considered

The service cannot be provided in-house.

Open procurement was ruled out due to the longer timescales
required to do an open tender process.
