Purpose

To undertake a procurement exercise for Hard Facilities Management PE and External Play Equipment: Inspection and Minor Repair

Decision

To enter into a new contract for Hard Facilities Management PE and External Play Equipment: Inspection and Minor Repairs for North Yorkshire Council’s Property Service.

Reasons for the decision

A decision has been made to end the current Hard Facilitates Management PE and External Play Equipment: Inspection and Minor Repairs contract with Continental Sports Ltd and enter into a new contract with Continental Sports Ltd under Lot 8 Gym Inspection and Maintenance of the YPO 1000 The supply of Gymnastic and Gymnasium Equipment, Mats, Accessories and Maintenance Services framework.

The new contract will include provision to provide all relevant servicing and maintenance for additional Council Corporate properties as other contract arrangements expire, as well as provision for Property’s Traded Service Property Solutions clients.

The new contract will be for a duration of four years.
