Decision

North Yorkshire Council Local Engagement/Community Safety Team will commission the role of a Health IDVA/ISVA with IDAS our current service provider of domestic abuse services for North Yorkshire for a term of one year with an option to extend for a further 12 months.

This role is already in position and funded through national programme STADA for a term of 12 months with that funding due to conclude September 2024.

Reasons for the decision

The funding for this role will be via government non ring-fenced grant fund provided by the Department for Levelling Up Housing & Communities to North Yorkshire Council for the purposes of services to support victims/survivors and their children from domestic abuse. This will not be provided from direct Council funds.
