Decision

To accept the recommendation by Councillor
Janet Jefferson to award £2,500 of her Locality Budgets
funding to fund the medical provision, security, entertainment and
8 Seafest banners for the festival with Seafest Steering
Group.

Cllr Jefferson is the Castle Division Councillor on North Yorkshire
Council, Inaugural Member and Chairman of the Seafest Steering
group, President of Scarborough Chamber of Trade and Commerce and
Chairman of Castle Ward Tenants and Residents Association and
Community and Police Group.

Reasons for the decision

The funding will support this specific project
recommended by Councillor Jefferson which directly promotes the
social, economic, or environmental wellbeing of the communities
within the Division she represents.
