Decision to award the contract for Low Street
enhancement project in, Sherburn-In-Elmet to undertake the proposed
upgrading works to the public realm and high street.

The proposed scheme will provide the following:
• Upgrading the public realm area from The Swan Pub down to
Starkey’s Butchers.
• Two Real time bus information screens installed at the Low
Street bus stops.
• Upgrading notice board to include new town centre map.

The project is programmed to start at the end of January and
complete in July 2025.
