Decision

Appointment of a contractor for works to
convert a former hostel into 6 flats following a competitive
tender.

A total of 6 contractors tendered for the works which included but
was not limited to:

• Facilitating works – to include but not limited to
security and fencing and demolition
• Super structure works
• Internal finishes including fittings furnishings and
equipment
• Services
• External works
• Any necessary approvals – LABC, building Regulations,
discharge of planning conditions etc
• Provision of a handover pack

A JCT design and build contract will be entered into. The works
will take place over a period of 3.5 months subject to extensions
if required.
