The grant funding applications for Community
Transport, as detailed in Appendix A to the report are
approved.

Reasons for the decision

The proposal will allow three community
transport schemes to replace older vehicles or extend existing
provision which will reduce operating costs and improve the service
offered to residents. The recommended approach can be funded from
the existing budget for community transport.

Alternative options considered

To do nothing would risk local community
transport schemes not being able to continue to provide accessible
services to residents and this funding can be met from within
existing budgets
