Decision

To approve a Discretionary Top Up of
£15,000.00 as part of a Disabled Facilities Grant. This is
needed to provide bedroom / bathroom facilities as part of an
extension for a disabled client. Total value of the adaptations
will be over £50K with the mandatory and discretionary
funding in place.

Reasons for the decision

Further to a Consultation carried out with the
Disabled Adaptations Advisory Group it was agreed that the most
cost effective and practical solution to meet the needs of the
applicant was to provide additional facilities to the
dwelling.

Unable to provide facilities to the ground
floor of the existing property
